A DM (Demineralization) Plant is a water treatment system designed to remove dissolved minerals, salts, calcium, magnesium, silica, and other ionic impurities from water through the ion exchange process. It produces high-purity demineralized water that is essential for industries requiring mineral-free water for critical operations. The system typically consists of a Cation Exchange Unit, Anion Exchange Unit, and an optional Mixed Bed Unit to achieve superior water purity. High-quality ion exchange resins effectively remove both positively and negatively charged ions, ensuring consistent water quality with very low conductivity.
